HBC Stalling information

All stalls at the Hoosier Beef Congress are pre-assigned.  Once the stalling assignments are completed, you will be able to find those assignments here on this page and they will also be sent out via the remind app and also shared through our social media channels.

All stalls come pre-bedded with mulch.  That bedding is included as part of your entry fees.

Stalling assignments will be handled by IBCA Staff.  The following priority levels will be used with assigning stalls.

  1. HBC Online Stalling Auction - November 9, 2025 on Willoughby Online Sales - https://wlivestock.com/auction/30209
    1. The first 30 options to select stalls, in order, will be sold in an online auction through Willoughby Sales on November 9th.
    2. Each lot in the auction allows for the selection of the stalling location for all of the entries for up to two households.  A household includes all of the youth that live at that address.  It does not include cousins, grandkids, nieces and nephews that live at a different address.  Even if the cattle all are kept at a single address, if the exhibitors themselves live at a different address, they are considered a separate household.
    3. If multiple households plan to split a spot in the auction, those families must stall together in the same location.
    4. All entries, including any late entries must be completed and paid for in the Showman.app system prior to stalls being assigned.
    5. Each purchase in the Online Stalling Auction includes a parking pass for each household covered under that purchase to park 1 trailer in the VIP Trailer Parking Lot located just behind Hook's Drug Store.
    6. Online Stalling Auction purchasers will also be allowed to begin unloading and stall set up 1 hour prior to the posted start time on Wednesday, Dec 3.
    7. After the stalling auction concludes, purchasers will receive an email from hoosierbeefcongress@gmail.com with maps and instructions on how to make your stalling location selections.
    8. If you have more than 2 families that want to stall together and desire to use this highest priority option for your location selection, your group will need to purchase enough spots in the auction to cover each family.  I.e. if there are 3 or 4 households, you will need to purchase 2 spots, if there are 5 or 6 households you will need to purchase 3 spots, etc..
  2. HBC Sale Consignors
    1. Sale cattle consignors will be assigned stalls in a close proximity to the area where the sale cattle are stalled.
    2. Stalls will only be assigned in this priority level for the consignors immediate household.  If you want to stall with other families, they will also need to have sale entries or will need to be included on the volunteer list.
  3. Volunteers
    1. Volunteers that agree to help us with identified roles will be assigned stalls after the sale cattle consignors and the stalling auction purchasers are assigned.
    2. Stalls will only be assigned in this priority level for the volunteers immediate household.  If a volunteer wants to stall with other families, they also need to be represented by a separate volunteer shift.
    3. Attempts will be made to assign stalls based on location requests when possible, however if you are really concerned about stalling location, purchasing a spot in the stalling auction would be your best way to be specific about where your stalls are located.
    4. The Volunteer sign-up can be found at:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4EAEAE2DA6FDC52-58219746-hoosier#/
  4. Google Stalling RSVP Form
    1. On November 10th (after the Online Stalling Auction), a Google Stalling RSVP Form will be emailed out to all registered exhibitors and shared via social media and remind.รข
    2. Any exhibitor not covered under one of the priority levels above should complete the Google Stalling RSVP Form, even if they are only planning to stall with their own household.
    3. This form will allow you to select an unlimited number of families to stall together.
    4. Stalls will be assigned in order that the RSVP requests are received.
    5. Larger group sizes may limit what locations are available when we get to this priority level.
