In accordance with IBCA bylaws, proposed amendments to the IBCA bylaws are being posted for public review at least 30 days prior to the annual business meeting on 1/28/11. Click here to see the proposed amendments to the IBCA Bylaws.
The 2012 IBCA Annual Awards Banquet will be held Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Primo West - 2353 Perry Road, Plainfield, Indiana

This annual event is a great opportunity for fun and fellowship among Indiana's beef producers, as well as a time to honor Indiana's finest county affiliates and cattlemen. Social time will begin at 5:30 pm, with dinner to be served at 6:30.

For guests planning to stay and attend the Livestock, Forage and Grain Forum on February 27, a block of rooms have been held at the Best Western Atrea in Plainfield for February 26, at a rate of $71 per room. To contact the Best Western, please call 317-837-7500 and refer to the Indiana Beef Cattle Association.

The 2012 Livestock, Forage and Grain Forum will be held Monday, February 27, 2012. IBCA will hold its annual Awards Banquet on Sunday, February 26, 2012 in conjunction with this great event. Click on the Forum Logo for details about the banquet and forum and be sure to register online!
In accordance with IBCA bylaws, the following proposed slate of nominees for Officers of the IBCA is publicly posted at least 30 days prior to the annual business meeting on 2/27/12.
Indiana has a new class of Master Farmers and they were honored Tuesday night at the Southwest Purdue Ag Center in Vincennes. The four class of 2011 members all farm south of Indianapolis and they are John Zupancic of Morgantown; Jim Day of Salemn; Loran Wilson from Orleans; and Bill Schroeder from Freelandville.

Donnie Lawson, from Thorntown IN, was one of more than fifty young cattlemen and women selected to participate in the National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) 32nd Young Cattlemen's Conference (YCC).

The 2010 Hoosier Beef Congress saw 837 purebred and commercial heifers entered in the junior shows as well as 555 purebred and commercial steers. There were 139 cattle put through the breed and all star sales on Saturday.

The IBCA Board of Directors is made up of 10 Area Directors as well as representatives from dairy, veal, and allied industry. These local producer leaders serve on the Board for the IBCA as well as managing the collection and allocation of Beef Checkoff for the Indiana Beef Council (IBC).
