Call Out to Local Affiliates
The grassroots of the IBCA is made up of county organizations. There are many active county and area organizations involved in a wide variety of activities throughout the year, including grilling beef products at local events, holding field days, sponsoring scholarships or working at the county fair. We are interested in hearing about your organization's future or past events.

Remember, if you send a summary of your county activities, it will be highlighted in this weekly newsletter and or published in the Indiana Beef magazine. You can send county event forms by email to Callie Cleveland, or by mail to Indiana Beef Cattle Association, 8425 Keystone Crossing, Suite 240, Indianapolis IN 46240

If you would like more information about becoming involved in your county's activities, please call the IBCA office, 317.293.2333, and we'd be happy to send you to the right person.

New Website for Anyone Moving Cattle Across State Lines
The one-stop resource for finding requirements to move animals across state lines! The site is in its first phase featuring cattle movement regulations for all 50 states, and designed to provide quick results.

Best of all, it's free! Anyone involved in cattle movements can easily prepare to meet the necessary requirements. No more reading through regulations or waiting until normal business hours to call the state – the information is available 24/7 at your fingertips.

The mobile and desktop friendly site provides you with a simple Q&A process to narrow down your requirements for your specific situation. The site also provides an interactive, map based tagging site finder to help get your stock properly identified when entering commerce.

The site is developed as a partnership of the United States Animal Health Association and the National Institute for Animal Agriculture, through which the information gap was identified. This solution was developed through a collaborative effort of states, USDA, members of both organizations and Trace First. Please check it out!
